Milton Keynes ....creating a brighter future, making Britain great again'

Our aims
Cry of the Homeless is a Christian charity (number 1132461), whose aim is to help victims of homelessness 'move forward' by providing food and advice at the day centre, empowerment workshops, hands-on skills courses and other schemes designed to support them in rebuilding their lives.

COH aims to create a multi-purpose centre for homeless and vulnerably housed people, in the heart of Milton Keynes. COH aims to develop a Christian centre of excellence providing a safe and positive environment, maintaining respect and confidentiality to all. The centre will about rebuilding lives through empowerment, and also raising awareness of the plight of the homeless.

There will be opportunity to attend various workshops and projects, which include counselling and life skills. Within the COH environment, foundational Christian values will be paramount promoting respect, integrity, honesty, encouragement and hope. We will integrate Christian teachings within the various projects and activities going on throughout the day. Step by step we hope to build positive and trusting relationships with each person seeking to move forward. Most importantly people will learn what it means to know the love of Christ in action through our team of volunteers, who believe Christ transforms and heals even the deepest emotional pain no matter what difficult background a person has experienced. Our goal is to identify hidden talents and abilities that are just waiting to emerge within each precious individual.

By linking with other organisations we hope to help create a move towards chosen career paths and/or other training opportunities, in preparation towards employment. Cry of the Homeless Centre will be a unique community, striving to achieve the best results for its users; empowering them to go forward in life knowing that someone cared.

The proceeds from any products sold under COH will be solely used for financing homeless projects.
